A Rhetoric of war: the destruction of the other

The work analyzes the discourse of the first cycles of the colonial world, specifically, the one raised by the Treaty on the just causes of the war against the Indians. In this treaty appears a rhetoric of war that makes use of figures of speech that justify the taking of territories, goods and the production of docile bodies. The rhetoric of war was the relationship that the empire assumed in the face of the other's problem and has implied its destruction. This has its effects in today's world, so it is important to trace its first manifestations.
